My expertise lies at the intersection of UX content strategy, health literacy, and qualitative research. I specialize in translating deep patient insights into strategic, patient-centered content for digital health platforms.
At Verily Life Sciences, I’m working on an MVP digital health platform that helps patients make behavioral changes to manage their metabolic condition(s). I'm also a founding member of In Women's Health.

Develop, manage, and implement a content strategy for a digital health platform focused on behavioral health. Responsibilities:
Assess the content needs for programs and feature launches
Create and implement a product voice and tone
Construct narrative arcs across programs
Turn complex, potentially intimidating information into engaging, actionable, patient-centered educational content
Oversee content creation and reviews
Ensure all content is inclusive and accessible
Manage cross functional projects
Work closely with clinicians, behavioral scientists, UX designers, UX researchers, product counsel, regulatory, quality, engineers, product managers, and other internal collaborators

Content Project Lead, June – November 2021
Ovia Health
Led project dedicated to Ovia's mission to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion - specifically as it related to diet culture. Responsibilities:
Met with clinical team to finalize language audit of existing content, incorporate necessary edits, and identify content gaps
Removed nods to diet culture, shame and fatphobia (valuing smaller bodies over larger bodies, over emphasis of BMI)
Edited language and documented the changes in the style guide
Wrote new content to support people who are dealing or have dealt with an eating disorder
Associate Copywriter, Jan 2019 – March 2021
Amwell
Go-to, in-house B2C copywriter for Amwell and its clients. Responsibilities:
Wrote copy for multiple channels including emails, push notifications, blogs, website content, paid search, paid social, and display ad copy
Worked closely with UX/Product teams to understand app users and best practices for messaging/communication
Used extensive knowledge about the healthcare/medical space to help shape Amwell's content and brand voice
Interviewed Amwell physicians and therapists to inform content
Onboarded and trained physicians during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which significantly reduced wait times and increased app ratings

Enrolled 502 participants in a study concerning the ethics of compensating research participants. Responsibilities:
Administered interviews using Qualtrics Survey Software in OB/GYN and Family Medicine clinics
Conducted preliminary qualitative data analysis to present key findings and research study proposal

Consolidated and analyzed data using STATA on firearm homicide rates by race/ethnicity in the U.S. Completed a literature review about firearm homicide rates in the U.S. and wrote part of a journal publication.

Conducted one-on-one interviews and focus group discussions to determine the social implications of vaping products. Designed survey methodologies and conducted market research to identify vaping materials used by young people.
